Early Rising [P] Thunderstorm

Kyrios began to move. It was quite early, and he had been involved in a tough hunt the night before. Groaning, Kyrios stretched his long, brown legs, his claws reaching as far as they could go. He stood on all fours, and shook his head. It was still quite dull in the cave, but the light was slowly, eventually getting brighter. Deciding to move around, Kyrios walked over to the step-like rocks which allowed freedom into the desert, a lonely place. Kyrios sighed. He had left his old pack for a new start, but was unsure whether he made the right decision. He wanted a nice pack, not too vicious, and needed an alpha who would tolerate visitors. He narrowed his eyes. Thunder was alright, but a bit too grumpy, as he had a sort of 'fit' with the beta of the Rosa Ancra pack in their territory. Their territory. Not Thunder's. Kyrios smiled. At least he was away from his father, away from death and torture itself. Stepping onto the orange rocks, Kyrios groaned as his tired muscles sprang back to life again. He slowly made his way up to the desert, the place he was destined to spend his life. Luckily, the Kulai Resmo pack had situated the pack territory near a waterhole, so they had a good water supply, but food was scarce. Kyrios was full from the meal he had eaten the night before, so hunting wasn't necessary at the moment. Kyrios howled, howled to the far lands, as the sun rised over them. Morning had begun, a new day had started. "I am the king"

[Thunderstorm]

Thunderstorm awoke with a smile and a dip in the lake about 2 miles away. He walked back to see Kyrios at the waterhole and decided to join him. He took a few laps of water before he went on fire again. It was normal when he drank water but Thunderstorm kind of liked it that way. Thunderstorm stopped the wind for a minute before deciding to get breakfast. He blew the wind fast towards him. It was going at least 75 Miles Per Hour. It let Thunder smell all the scents and let one blow one to him for a nice meal.

Thunder said "Top of the morning to ya, Kyrios!" He smiled and sprinted into the forest to have a nice long meal and a nice long hunt. Thunder smelt 2 mice, 8 hares, 2 elk and 1 moose. Moose would be a fine meal today. Thunder silently trotted, following the trail of a moose. It smelled like a Male 9 year Moose with 2 wounds, one on its neck and another one on its head. This would be an easy kill for Thunder.

Thunder finally had the Moose in view and he lit himself on fire and went in for it. First, he caught the Moose on fire. Then he reopened his wounds and it just dropped to the ground. It was out like a light. Thunder bit it's neck and dragged it a while until he reached his territory. "Kyrios! I got us breakfast...Well this will be like 3 breakfasts. This is a beast!" He laughed. It gave no struggle or fight and Thunderstorm was rather proud and bored of it at the same time.

Grinning, Kyrios ran straight to him, hunger magically forming again. It was only when he saw a meal did he feel hungry, maybe Kyrios just liked eating. Kyrios listened to Thunder. "Three breakfasts indeed. We can keep this in the caves for future use!" Kyrios smiled at Thunder. He may be strangely territorial sometimes, but he was fun at the same time. When Thunder wasn't looking, Kyrios snatched a piece of flesh from the moose's shoulder blade with his claws, and pretended to sniff the kill, and quickly scoffed the chunk of meat in Ignum style, quickly swallowing the meat near whole. Standing up straight, Kyrios pretended he didn't do any thing and carefully kicked the scraps of meat towards the kill, away from the crime scene. "I am the king"

[Thunderstorm]

Thunderstorm nodded in excitement and dug in himself. He chewed on the skin first and then ate the meat. His mouth was watering and his eyes closed as he chewed the delicious meat. It tasted like fat and juice which was the perfect meal. "Yup! It's best to store it there but we have to watch out for other predators." He smiled, only wanting the meat to the Kulai Resmo pack.

Thunderstorm turned to Kyrios in a quick motion and said "I felt a sudden burst of air, are you okay? Maybe just jumpy..." He chuckled and ate at the rest of it/ He was starting to get the feeling the Kyrios was more of an Ignum wolf. Thunder would have to teach him Resmo ways.

Usually that meant they would hunt as a group but two were assigned to try and get the throat and tummy of an animal and the others would go for the head, legs and shoulders to make an animal weaker. When they ate, they gulped the meal down until they were FULL and when they would rest they all took positions and they would wake up in a special formation for defense or attack.

Digging in to the meal once more, Kyrios took notice of the different flavour. Fresh meat. Good meat. Excellent meat. Kyrios had never tasted such amazing meat before. Moose was a rare meal in the ignum pack. He would only get the hooves to chew on, sharing them with the pups. Kyrios grinned horribly. He had taken a bit out of the neck, and blood came gushing out. Kyrios could feel the fire burning within him as he ate. Shivering, Kyrios took another bite of pure meat and gulped it straight down. He turned to Thunderstorm. With a look of worry, Kyrios stared straight into Thunders confident eyes. "I think I still have a bit of ol' Ignum in me. Not good mate."Kyrios said, licking the few droplets of blood near his nose. Deciding enough was enough, Kyrios sat down, willing himself to stop eating, but stared endlessly at the beautiful moose. Blood dripping. Flesh wounds open. Stench rotting. Kyrios' teeth began to bare. He needed blood. All ignum wolves did. He was beginning to be driven insane. Bloodlust killed any wolf, especially Ignum ones. "I am the king"

[Thunderstorm]

Thunderstorm cocked his head and nodded slightly, with his eyes narrowed and his heart beating faster and faster. "I feel as if I need to recruit more members of the pack." He let out a sigh followed by a chuckle. He laid down and sat his head down on his paws. The dirt was cool and he could smell a thunderstorm in the air. "I sense a hurricane. Or something bad like that." He growled and signaled Kyrios to run away from where the wind was pushing the storm. "I can't seem to stop the air. My air power is too weak against the hurricane wind. I have to train my powers better." He snarled and started backing away from the wind. He sprinted the other way into the fog, but lost Kyrios at that moment. He had to be responsible. "Kyrios! Kyrios, me boy, where are you?!?!?! We have to run forward, away from the wind." He howled and sprinted down a hill as the thunder and rain started to hit.

Listening to Thunderstorm, Kyrios thought of a better Idea. "I think we should head to the caves! There is a large stone we can use to prevent flooding!" Kyrios yelled, trying to keep his voice above the wind. The rain wasn't meant to hit yet, what was happening? Was this a hurricane, like Thunder suggested, or even a monsoon? Kyrios tail ran inbetween his legs. He was frightened. In the forest, storms were rare and when their was one, they would bark and howl until it left. You couldn't do that here. This was a desert. Green to gold. Big diff. Soon, the rain was chasing down Kyrios like a herd of enraged buffalo, and Kyrios knew there was no time to go into the caves. A strong wind nearly lifted Kyrios from his feet, and he whimpered. "Thunder! Where are you!" he howled. Remembering Thunder's advice, Kyrios ran straight after his scent. hoping he was there. "I am the king"

[Thunderstorm]

Thunder heard through the wind. He controlled the wind and it wasn't anything for him. One thing that Thunder did know that it was a sand storm but there was a rare rain fall that didn't come often. He smelt Kyrios but the sand blew in his eyes and he steered in the wrong direction. He pushed through it and ran over to where he saw something moving in the wind. Kyrios! "Follow me and stay very close. You hear!" He barked and ran to where he knew Kyrios knew. The caves were about 5 minutes away and they had to run at top speed to get there in about 2 minutes. He sprinted away with his fur flying through the air and the sand, getting tangled in the grey and black hair.

Sprinting as fast as he could go, he could feel sand rising from behind. A sandstorm! With rain, Kyrios thought, even deadlier. Whimpering in pain as the cold needles of rain hit his fur, he ran and ran until he could no longer think. Suddenly, a massive dune approached. He recognised the dune, he was closer to the caves! Closer, closer, closer.....SMASH. The last thing Kyrios thought was "oops" as he smashed into the dune itself, causing him to fly forward, as he had hit the dune at full speed, and smashed straight into the middle. He flew, nearly for seconds, and his mind crashed as he fell into a cave, and blacked out. "I am the king"

[Thunderstorm]

Thunderstorm had located the buff body of his friend and pack member as he licked his cheek to regain consciousness. He licked and licked him until he got tired and he sat down and whimpered. "I'm so sorry." He whimpered and his ears went down, flat on his head. He brought Kyrios deeper into the cave where they were protected and he fell asleep next to him. He got cuts all up his body and he was bleeding bad, but as a good leader he cared for Kyrios first, then himself.
