Serenity stared at the water. The salty water was lapping silently over her fox-like paws. She smiled. She had been named for this. Stepping into the ocean, Serenity took a deep breath, inhaling the sea mist that flew into her eyes. Being a Scaori, sea water didn't irritate her, so she was able to do this. Stepping deeper and deeper, Serenity kept her eyes open, searching for small fish she could take back to the pack.
Eying the waters, Serenity saw the silver scales gleam in her pink eyes. A fish. It was slowly moving, forwards, and kept swimming in a circle. Serenity lifted her long, pink tail. She had the lower half of an iguana, meaning she was an excellent swimmer, and a great climber. It also meant she had a long, flexible tail. She could grab a fish and strangle it if she had too. But she didn't.
Instead, Serenity slided her tail into the water, carefully trying not to alert the creature, as she slowly began to stroke it along it's sides. The fish, at first, tried to splash the oncoming threat, but decided to stay. Serenity stepped further into the water. She bent her head down low, trying not to alert the fish. She treaded into the deeper water, and circled the silver animal, still stroking it. Moving her head closer, Serenity opened her mouth, and began to speak softly, "Calm, small creature. Calm down, silver gem of the sea. You are going to be my tea." Her voice was nearly a song, so soft that the fish turned, and stared at the sharp teeth around it, the last thing it saw.
This was how Serenity hunted, how she caught an animal without telling it her true intentions. It was her way of life.

A small exhalation was given as the Aranosa alpha glided down the beach. She was adept in using her grace to almost fly across the sands, ever-calm mood evident. Turning his gaze to the sea, she had to squint for a moment, then registered the form of a wolf in the shallows. She was alarmed at first, then relaxed as she realised the scent was of her own pack.
Seeing the wolf pounce on something, most likely a fish, she waited a moment before calling out to her. "Good afternoon, M'dear... how is the hunting these days?" Yeah, of course she knew, but it was a good conversation starter... right?

Serenity nearly jumped at the sound of another wolf. "Good afternoon, M'dear... how is the hunting these days?" Serenity stared, smiling. The scent of the wolf meant it was an alpha, so Serenity had to be kind and caring, even though she was anyway. "I guess it's fair, just caught a small silver fish. I am willing to share." she said, calm and soft. With a quick snap, the fish had been torn in half, the pieces large enough for a small snack. Serenity tossed the headed half to the other wolf.
"My name is Serenity. I was actually on a little search for you actually." Serenity's large lizard tail slopped out of the water and onto the land. "I was wondering about joining Aranosa Litus, for I need the company. I understand my mutation may prevent this from happening..." She looked hard at her pink tail. She turned. "I have control over the element of water, which is surprisingly helpful in hunting..." Serenity turned to the ocean, and her eyes suddenly turned blue. A patch of water flew into the air in the shape of a wolf. Serenity released it, and turned back to the alpha.
"So, how would you like me in your pack?" Serenity ate the half of the fish she had caught before in one gulp.

"I guess it's fair, just caught a small silver fish. I am willing to share." Nova smiled at the Scaori's generosity. "Nay, dear, It is the hunter who deserves it" she said, nodding, but still accepted the piece offish thrown to her. "My name is Serenity. I was actually on a little search for you actually." Nova was curious at that. "I'm Nova, a pleasure to meet you... why were you looking for me?" she asked innocently, tilting her head to the side slightly.
"I was wondering about joining Aranosa Litus, for I need the company. I understand my mutation may prevent this from happening..." Novacine's smile turned into a grin and she nodded. She picked up her half of the fish and ate it, tongue swiping over charcoal lips after she had finished.
"I have control over the element of water, which is surprisingly helpful in hunting..." She looked thoughtful, then answered. "That is indeed a valuable skill. I, myself have control over fire and electricity... but they don't have much use around here, apart from warmth." she said, allowing a little spark of electricity and fire to dance from the tips of her ears.
"So, how would you like me in your pack?" Novacine didn't hesitate, and answered immediately. "Of course you can join! I'm never the one to deny sanctuary to anyone."

Serenity cheered on the inside. She bowed her head, swishing her tail in a cat-like fashion to show contentment. Her pale head tilted towards Novacine. "Thank you, Miss. I will not make you regret your decision." She smiled, then turned to face the island. It was large, covered with a huge forest, and colourful birds flew out from the center of the island, squawking and chirping. It was truly beautiful.
Turning to Nova, Serenity gestured that she was going exploring. She quickly galloped off into the forest. Nature was everywhere. To her left, a small group of finches could be seen chattering, a huge white cockatoo was hissing at anything that went by, and a strange, tall bird that looked like a demoniacal turkey. Confused by the life in the forest, Serenity slowed down dramatically, and stopped to take it all in. It sounded and looked more like a jungle than a forest, she thought, a great, beautiful jungle.
