With each exhausted pawstep across slick ice, the memories and visions returned; of broken bodies strewn across the floor, glassy eyes staring upwards at the light that had long past stolen them, of a certain pair of aureate orbs glazed with death - the mere thought of the young woman stiff and lifeless sent a flurry of snow rocketing skywards in a minature hectic blizzard.
His peculiar cobalt gaze lifted from his paws to watch the silver sky spew ivory snowflakes that coated his alabaster build. There must have been someone out there who had it worse than him. Perhaps there was someone out there who would take him in?
No wolf could survive on his own; not for long, at least. Isolation was an agonising poison, tainting his very being. Casden could not name how much time he had spent aimlessly wandering, though he could feel in his sturdy bones that he was now two, and when he had left his bloodied home he had been only a month over one.
Something will happen,The snowy beast promised silently. Be it good or bad, something will happen. Either way, I will repent and redeem. Bring it on, destiny; I'll carve you myself.

Nova yet again found herself traversing on a different pack's territory. She could't help it. She was simply curious to see how and why the pack native here lived where it did. A awful place to settle was her thoughts on this frost-bitten land. She occasionally lit a little fire near her, for warmth, but even with her electric and fire powers, the Alpha was growing weaker by the hour.
But the last thing she had expected to find suddenly caught her gaze. She squinted through the snow. A... wolf? Her ears pricked, and she called out. "Hey! You!" she called over the wind, sending little sparks of fire hurtling into the snowy sky in her excitement.

Casden had barely returned to his travels when a silken voice reached his alabaster ears, a harmonious melody upon the air's breath. At last, he was no longer alone!
Pale pink tongue lolled from his snowy maw, navy blue gaze lighting up with delight.
He watched the sparks, both fire and electricity dancing through the air, before he himself sent a flurry of the irridescent blanket up into the sky. Deep, silvery voice hoarse from lack of use, he yelled back, "Hey!"

Thunderstorm had stepped on the plain, his fur cold and blowing in the wind, the fire blazing in his eyes. He howled to his pack not to follow and that he had to travel alone for once. He loved his pack dearly but right now he needed to be alone and travel. He saw two wolves in the distance and burned himself with fire. Fire coming off his smooth black coat and the wind going through his hair.
"Hello stranger. Hey Nova, nice to see you here." He smiled and bowed his head to her. He looked at the stranger once again, eyes lit up, coat on fire and the wind swirling as it did when Thunderstorm was talking or in the presence of another leader. In that case it was both. "Who might you be, stranger?" He said with a grin on his face.
He was a total loner because he hadn't any scent of a pack and other wolves socialization. He knew that this could be an opportunity to recruit this young man and become the biggest pack of all and they could dominate. Dominating was a big thing here and all Thunderstorm wanted to to do was grow brutal and strong with his loyal pack of wolves and powers.

Yet another wolf joined the she-wolf and he in the barren snowland - a muscular ebony sire, this time, with fire blazing upon his back - and Casden's joy swelled, his snowy plume ticking at a merry pace behind his toned figure.
"I am Casden Ma'iinga," The alabaster man answered with a formal dip of his head. A cheery, wolfish grin split his maw as he continued, "But my friends would call me Cassie, or Cas."

A small grin accompanied her as Nova watched the male come closer with a call of "Hey!" She laughed merrily at the sheer irony. Everytime she came to the most desolate place in chance, she would run into someone. "Hello stranger. Hey Nova, nice to see you here." she turned her head to see Thunderstorm, a fellow Alpha. "Who might you be, stranger?" She pricked her ears, curious to see what the wolf reply would be.
"I am Casden Ma'iinga," Nova smiled, "A lovely name m'dear" she said, in her motherly fashion that probably everyone recognised. "But my friends would call me Cassie, or Cas." She nodded. "I am Novacine Tainte, Alpha of Arinose Litus, m'dear" she grinned, "Are you in any chance looking for a pack? If so, you are very welcome to come to Arinose Litus. We live on the Regius Islands, and there are plenty of high ranks left." she then turned and breathed a small stream of flames that whisked around Casden. She wold have done the same for Thunder, but he already had his own fire.

"A lovely name m'dear" Casden dipped his head respectfully to the female, "Thank you, but it is not nearly as beautiful as yours, milady."
The invitation to join her pack was as unexpected as it was delightful, and the snowy sire suppressed an immature bounce of joy, watching the wisps of flame dance and twirl around him.
"I would be delighted to join you, Nova," He grinned, and then added quickly, "May I call you Nova?"
